Jeremiah 20:9
This music is free to listen to. If it moves you, consider supporting the ministry.
I'm standing in the rubble of the things I can't fix
Heart full of fire, hands balled into fists
The world is burning and nobody sees the smoke
And I'm tired of silence being the only hope
But there's a difference between a torch and a flame
Between consuming rage and a holy, burning claim
Take this fire, Lord — refine it in Your name
Holy fire, burn in me
Not the kind that destroys — the kind that sets the captives free
Take my anger, take my pain
Let it fall like righteous rain
Burn away the pride and the bitterness inside
Make me holy fire
I've watched the wicked prosper while the weary bleed
I've cried out to Heaven — God, how long, what do we need
But You said You see it all — not one tear hits the ground
And justice has a name — and Lord, it's You who holds the crown
So I give You what was burning out of control
Let it be the fuel that lights a purpose in my soul
You are the God who answers by fire
You are the God who goes higher and higher
My rage becomes a river of praise
When I let You redirect my gaze
You are the God who answers by fire
Holy fire, burn in me
Purify what I can't see
Not consumed — but refined
Not destroyed — redesigned
Make me holy fire
