Psalm 68:5 & Matthew 6:34

There's a woman sitting at her kitchen table tonight. The clock on the wall reads 2am.
On one side of her — a pile of bills she doesn't know how to pay. On the other — old photographs of a life she thought would last forever.
A marriage that fell apart. Children asleep down the hall, counting on her for everything. And a heart so heavy she can barely breathe.
She's been living in the wreckage of yesterday. Terrified of what tomorrow might take from her next. Wondering if God even remembers her name.
Then she opens her Bible. And it falls to Matthew chapter 6. "Do not worry about tomorrow… for today has enough trouble of its own."
She reads it once. Then again. And something… breaks loose.
The bills are still on the table. The photographs haven't changed. But for the first time in months — she doesn't feel alone in the room.
Maybe you know that table. Maybe tonight… that's your kitchen. This song is for you.
I've been staring at the wreckage
Of the life I left behind
Carrying a weight that wasn't mine to carry
Through the ruins of my mind
I've been bargaining with yesterday
And begging tomorrow to be kind
But somewhere in between the then and when
I lost the only moment I could find
And I hear a still small voice saying
Come on home, lay it down
Stop chasing what is gone
And what ain't come around
God is Timeless
But He's meeting me right now
Not in the grave of what I've done
Or in a future I can't allow
He's not waiting in the distance
He's not buried in my past
He is here in every breath I breathe
And His love is built to last
He is Timeless
And He's holding me right now
I've been writing every worst-case
Like a prophet of my pain
Letting worry steal the sunrise
Before it ever came
But His mercies don't run dry at night
They're brand new with the rain
And what I do in this one holy moment
Will never be in vain
I can't undo a single day gone by
I can't hold back the sun from crossing the sky
But right here, right now, with my hand in Yours
We can build something the enemy can't touch anymore
Yesterday is covered by Your grace
Tomorrow is already in Your hands
But today — today is holy ground
And I'm learning how to stand
God is Timeless
But He's walking here with me
Not haunting me with failure
Or a future I can't see
He's not locked inside a steeple
He's not trapped inside a prayer
He's the God of every second
And He meets me right here
He is Timeless
He is here
He is now
He is mine
Right now… He is enough
Right now… His grace is enough
Right now… surrender it all
Right now… let go and let God
She closes the Bible. Folds her hands on top of it. And she does something she hasn't done in a long time.
She prays. Not a polished prayer. Not a pretty one. Just three words.
"God… I'm here."
And somewhere in the quiet of that kitchen — He answered. Because He was already there. He's always already there.
What you do in this moment, right now, with His help — that's where your future begins. Not in your past. Not in your fear. Right here. Right now.
